Founded in 1970, Community Progress Incorporated (CPI) began its journey in a humble home, assisting one family each year. The organization quickly recognized the growing need for home repairs, especially after the devastating floods of June 1972. Over the decades, CPI has evolved, introducing programs like the Weatherization Program, which offers sliding scale fees based on income. Today, CPI collaborates with local contractors to provide essential home repairs to over 100 families annually, ensuring that roofs, windows, doors, and heating systems are safe and functional.
