Our Story

The Community Police Relations Foundation was founded in 2018 by Al Eskanazy, alongside philanthropists Barry Skolnick and Joe Depell. This initiative aims to bridge the growing gap between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Initially focused on South Florida and New York City, the foundation has expanded its outreach to cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, and Camden, New Jersey, fostering trust and understanding through various community initiatives.

Our Impact

Through its dedicated efforts, the CPR Foundation has fed thousands of families, created educational opportunities for under-served youth, and provided relief for officers and their families in distress. These initiatives have significantly improved interactions between the community and police, fostering stronger, safer neighborhoods.
