Our Story

For over five years, Community of Hope International has been dedicated to improving healthcare access in the Dominican Republic. Volunteer medical professionals travel three times a year to conduct free health clinics in impoverished communities, where local medical services are often too expensive or inadequate. In November 2014, the organization broke ground on a permanent facility in Bayaguana, which was dedicated as the Community of Hope Clinic in November 2016. This fully licensed medical facility now includes treatment rooms, dental and optometry services, a pharmacy, and a laboratory, staffed by three full-time doctors, two dentists, an optometrist, a pharmacist, and a laboratory technician.

Our Impact

Community of Hope International strives to provide affordable healthcare to those who otherwise wouldn’t have access. Each volunteer, donation, and service trip contributes to building a healthier future for the community.
