Our Story

Founded in 1999, Community Mediation Maryland brings together community mediation centers to promote effective conflict resolution across the state. By collaborating with the Maryland Mediation and Conflict Resolution Office, CMM enhances community relationships and provides essential training and resources.

Impact

Participation in re-entry mediation significantly reduces the likelihood of post-release arrests. Those who engage in mediation have a 21% chance of arrest compared to 31% for those who do not. Each additional session further decreases this probability by 6%.
