Community Markets Inc.: Connecting Locally Grown Food to Families in Need

Located in Charles Town, West Virginia, Community Markets Inc. (CMI) is dedicated to enhancing food distribution and access to locally-grown, healthy food resources. By facilitating e-Commerce access to SNAP for approved local farm products, CMI is improving food security for low-income families and supporting local farmers.

Impacting Lives Through Healthy Food Access

In just two years, CMI has fed over 8,600 individuals across 10 counties in West Virginia, distributing 116,000 pounds of nutritious food. The organization has also partnered with Jefferson County Schools to provide food assistance to 536 underserved students and is working with local senior centers to support vulnerable seniors.
