Our Story

The Community Initiatives of New York (TCIONY) is dedicated to improving the lives of underrepresented black and brown communities in New York City. Founded to tackle systemic obstacles, TCIONY provides justice, equity, and opportunities through various programs, including the Teaching A Generation (T.A.G.) initiative, which offers a safe space for youth to express themselves and engage in anti-gun violence efforts.
