Our Story
In 1996, visionary leaders from Harris Hospital, The Daughters of Charity, and Huguley Hospital established a not-for-profit community-based hospice to deliver high-quality end-of-life care for children and adults in the Dallas, Fort Worth, and Waco areas. This initiative led to the creation of Community Hospice of Texas and Providence Hospice. In 2019, the organization rebranded to Community Healthcare of Texas, emphasizing its dedication to exceptional care for patients and families facing serious or terminal illnesses. Today, it stands as the largest not-for-profit hospice and palliative care provider in Texas, including the innovative Little Doves Pediatric Hospice Program.
