Founded in 1975 by Dr. Thomas Whitfield, Community Health Programs began as a response to the lack of healthcare access for rural children in the Berkshires. Over the years, CHP has evolved to provide comprehensive medical, dental, and nutritional services to over 30,000 residents annually, regardless of their ability to pay.
