Our Story
The Community Food Bank, originally known as 'Loaves & Fishes', was founded in 1982 by local philanthropists to address the growing need for food assistance. Over the years, it has evolved into a vital food bank, overcoming challenges such as a devastating fire in 2006, and continues to serve the community with dedication.

Every day, the Community Food Bank distributes food to 400-800 families, and during the holidays, it serves over 5,000 families, making a significant impact on hunger in North Texas.
