Community Dental

Our Story

Community Dental has a rich history dating back to 1918, when a group of volunteers began providing dental care to children during the Spanish Flu. Evolving from the Red Cross Dental Clinic to the Children's Dental Clinic, it became Community Dental in 2003, expanding services to all ages and serving over 12,500 patients annually across Maine.

Each year, Community Dental provides essential oral healthcare services to over 12,500 patients, many of whom would otherwise lack access to necessary dental care. The organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families in Maine through comprehensive dental services.
