Community Concern for Cats (CC4C) is a dedicated non-profit organization that has been serving the cats of Contra Costa County for over 38 years. Founded by compassionate citizens, CC4C focuses on rescuing abandoned and feral cats, providing them with the medical care they need, and finding them loving homes. As an all-volunteer organization, every member, foster, and volunteer is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of these animals.
Since its inception in 1986, CC4C has transformed the lives of more than 50,000 cats and kittens. With an average of 900 adoptions each year and sterilization of approximately 1700-2000 cats annually, the organization plays a crucial role in reducing cat overpopulation and promoting responsible pet ownership.
