Turning Points
EIN: 59-3340921 · Bradenton, FL
Our Story
In the early 1990s, the Bradenton community recognized the growing concerns surrounding homelessness, leading to the establishment of the Community Coalition on Homelessness. This coalition was formed to provide direct services and advocacy for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services, including the establishment of a Day Resource Center and the Bill Galvano One Stop Center in 2009, which centralizes various services to assist low-income and homeless individuals.
Impact
During the 2020-2021 period, Turning Points delivered 109,359 services to over 9,384 clients, including 5,160 medical and dental visits, showcasing a significant community impact.
