Community Alliance for the Homeless

Our Story

Community Alliance for the Homeless was formed in February 2010 through the merger of Partners for the Homeless and the Greater Memphis Inter-Agency Coalition for the Homeless. With roots dating back to 1988, this organization has been a cornerstone in the fight against homelessness in Memphis, uniting service providers, donors, and community organizations.

Impact

Over 90% of individuals maintain stable housing after moving into permanent housing. Since 2020, there has been a 20% increase in exits to permanent housing, with 21% of those experiencing income growth last year.
