Community Alliance for Teen Safety
EIN: 02-0490481 · Derry, NH
Our Story
The Community Alliance for Teen Safety was founded in 1996 in response to a tragic series of fatal crashes involving teen drivers in the greater Derry area. Initiated by Dr. Joseph Sabato, an emergency room doctor, the organization has focused on public outreach and education to promote safe driving practices. Through collaborative efforts, CATS has successfully advocated for legislation that enhances teen driver safety, including mandatory seat belt laws and improved driver education programs.

CATS has made significant strides in improving the safety of teen drivers, contributing to a decrease in accidents and promoting responsible driving habits.
