Established in 1996, Community AIDS Network (CANAPI) is dedicated to preventing the transmission of HIV through education and risk reduction efforts. Located in Akron, Ohio, CANAPI also provides essential housing assistance and support services for individuals affected by HIV. The Akron Pride Initiative, a part of CANAPI since 1998, champions the rights and well-being of LGBTQ+ individuals in the region.
