Community Action Network (CAN) partners with children, youth, and families in under-resourced neighborhoods of Washtenaw County to create better futures. By providing educational programs and supportive services, CAN works to close socio-economic gaps and challenge systemic inequalities.

Since 2002, CAN has prevented over 99% of evictions in its housing neighborhoods and distributed over 1,037,652 pounds of food annually, equating to approximately 838,700 meals in 2023/2024.
