Our Story

Community Action Network (CAN) partners with children, youth, and families from under-resourced neighborhoods in Washtenaw County to create better futures. By providing educational and enrichment programs, CAN aims to close socio-economic gaps and challenge systemic inequalities.

Impact

Since 2002, CAN has prevented over 99% of evictions in its voucher-based housing neighborhoods and distributes over 1,037,652 pounds of food annually, equating to approximately 838,700 meals.
