Our Story
Community Access Naperville, Inc. (CAN) was founded in December 2011, evolving from the Community Access Multi-needs Partnership (CAMP). This initiative began with a successful summer day camp in 2010 and 2011, which laid the groundwork for CAN's Vocational and Recreational Program for Young Adults with Developmental Disabilities. Since its inception, CAN has expanded its offerings to include weekly programming from Monday to Friday, along with two Saturdays each month.
Impacting Lives
CAN is dedicated to ensuring that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are integrated into the community. Through the Community Based Program, participants engage in volunteering, dining out, recreational activities, and therapeutic sessions, fostering meaningful relationships with peers.
