Our Story

Founded in 1999 by Dr. Richard Bail and Peter Smith, Communities Without Borders emerged in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic that left 700,000 Zambian children orphaned. The organization is dedicated to providing a brighter future for these vulnerable children through access to education and essential care.

Our Impact

Communities Without Borders has successfully supported over 6,000 students in completing their education. Currently, more than 600 students are enrolled in two community schools, Living Hope and Sekelela, with 381 students receiving scholarships for secondary education across Lusaka.
