Our Story

In August 1926, the Bowling Green City Hospital opened its doors as a city-sponsored non-profit hospital, dedicated to providing exceptional medical and surgical care to all individuals, regardless of race, creed, or financial status. Over the decades, the hospital evolved, becoming the Bowling Green-Warren County Hospital in 1951 and later transforming into the Medical Center at Bowling Green in 1980. This regional medical center now serves over ten counties in South Central Kentucky, continuing the mission established nearly a century ago.
