About Common Sense Society

Founded in 2009 by European and American students, Common Sense Society began as a debating forum aimed at exploring the ideas that shape our history and future. Today, it has evolved into an international nonprofit educational network dedicated to cultivating citizen competency across the United States and Europe. Through innovative education and civic engagement initiatives, CSS inspires, equips, and connects parents, educators, civic leaders, and elected officials.

Common Sense Society has reached over 350,000 students through more than 17,500 educators utilizing its educational resources and in-person programming. With over 7,500 lesson plan downloads, CSS has made a significant impact across 12 U.S. states.
