CATA - The Farmworkers Support Committee, founded in 1979 by migrant farmworkers, is dedicated to empowering the Latino immigrant community in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. This grassroots organization focuses on advocating for workers’ rights, health and safety, and food justice.
Impact
In 2024, CATA reached over 1,500 migrant workers through outreach efforts and conducted 24 training sessions, assisting over 350 workers with the FFWR Fund applications.
