About Comfort Zone Camp

Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or significant caregiver. With programs offered free of charge, Comfort Zone Camp provides trust-building activities and age-based support groups that help break the emotional isolation often associated with grief. Serving children ages 7-17 and young adults up to 25, the camp also offers specialized programs for parents and guardians.

Impact of Comfort Zone Camp

Empowering grieving children to heal and grow, Comfort Zone Camp has hosted campers from nearly all 50 states, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The organization adapts its programs to meet the needs of families, especially during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic.

Why Donate to Comfort Zone Camp?

With an estimated 1 in 14 children in the U.S. experiencing the death of a parent or sibling before age 18, the need for support is critical. Comfort Zone Camp provides a safe space for these children to connect with peers who understand their grief, while learning valuable coping skills. All programs, including camps and support groups, are offered free of charge, alleviating the financial burden on families during their time of loss.
