Comfort Food of Washington County

Our Story

Comfort Food of Washington County has been a beacon of hope for nearly a decade, evolving from the Greenwich Food Pantry, which began in 1986. This organization was established to combat food insecurity and has expanded its reach with the opening of the Comfort Food Community Food Center in 2019, harnessing local resources to eliminate hunger.

Impact

In 2022, CFC made a significant impact by distributing over 500,000 pounds of food, serving more than 20,400 individuals, and rescuing 292,000 pounds of food from landfills.
