Our Story

Founded in 2013 by Rob Scheer, Comfort Cases was born from a personal experience in the foster care system. After receiving a trash bag for his belongings, Rob vowed to ensure that no child would feel the same way. Comfort Cases provides backpacks filled with essential and comforting items to children in foster care, helping them feel valued during difficult transitions.

Our Impact

Since its inception, Comfort Cases has distributed over 250,000 Comfort Cases and Comfort XL duffel bags to children in foster care across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom. This initiative has significantly improved the dignity and self-worth of countless children.
