Support Severely Wounded Soldiers

Our Story

The Combat Soldiers Recovery Fund was founded in 2004 by Garland Miller in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with a mission to support wounded soldiers. Recognizing that many charitable donations often go towards overhead costs, Garland ensured that 100% of contributions directly assist those in need. With the help of dedicated volunteers, CSRF focuses on providing immediate financial relief to combat soldiers during their recovery.

Impact

Since its inception, the Combat Soldiers Recovery Fund has distributed nearly $700,000 to over 1,200 combat soldiers. This financial support has been crucial in helping veterans cover essential expenses, such as travel for family visits and necessary home repairs, significantly improving their recovery experience.
