Our Story
Less than 20 years ago, the Western Slope of Colorado faced a critical shortage of inpatient psychiatric care. With the closure of three psychiatric units, the community was left vulnerable. In response, West Springs Hospital opened its doors in 2005, becoming the only inpatient psychiatric hospital between Denver and Salt Lake City. The state-of-the-art facility, spanning 63,000 square feet, has doubled its capacity to provide life-saving treatment in a healing environment.
