Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition
EIN: 74-2563848 · Denver, CO
Our Story
Founded in 1980 by Richard Garcia, the Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition (CSPC) emerged from a need to address the inequities faced by Latino children in education. Initially informal, CSPC became a 501c3 nonprofit in 1986, dedicated to empowering Latino parents with the knowledge and skills necessary to advocate for their children. Through statewide conferences and training programs, CSPC focuses on early childhood education and parent engagement.
Impact
Over 2,800 parents have been trained in essential parenting skills, leading to increased involvement in their children's education and improved outcomes for Latino children across Colorado.
