Founded in September 2019, Colorado Rising for Communities is a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on safeguarding Colorado’s health, safety, wildlife, and environment from the detrimental effects of oil and gas development. Established in response to increasing public concern over oil and gas accidents, the organization emphasizes litigation, state agency rulemaking, and public education.
