Our Story

The Colorado Nepal Alliance, based in Denver, CO, was founded by Anne Hines and Larry Leszczynski after witnessing the struggles of a porter in Nepal. The organization began with the 'Shoes for Sherpas' initiative and has expanded to address various needs in rural communities, including school construction and health camps.

Impact

Since its inception, the Colorado Nepal Alliance has rebuilt schools destroyed in the 2015 earthquake, conducted teacher training programs, and held Women's Health Camps, identifying over 90 women needing follow-up care.
