Our Story

Founded in 1995, Colorado Dance Theatre emerged from a passionate group of dancers and educators dedicated to enriching the cultural landscape of Northern Colorado. With roots tracing back to the University of Northern Colorado, the organization has captivated audiences with timeless performances, including classics like “Carmina Burana” and “The Nutcracker.” Over the years, the annual production of “The Nutcracker” has blossomed, featuring over 125 dancers from various local studios, showcasing the vibrant dance community in Greeley.
