Empowering Children Through Advocacy

Colorado CASA began in the early 1980s as part of a national initiative to advocate for children in court. The first program was established in 1984 in Larimer County, and by 1989, Colorado CASA became the statewide coordinating agency for CASA programs. Today, 18 local programs serve 18 of Colorado's 22 judicial districts, ensuring that children receive the support and advocacy they deserve.

Making a Lasting Impact

In 2023, CASA organizations in Colorado served 3,791 children, providing essential advocacy and support to those in the child welfare system.
