Our Story

The Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust (CCALT) was established in 1995 by the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, becoming the first land trust formed by a state livestock association. Over the years, CCALT has partnered with over 400 families to conserve more than 800,000 acres of Colorado ranch land, focusing on preserving the state's agricultural heritage and working landscapes for future generations.
