Founded in 2007 by Lisa Mendelsberg and Linda Fox, Colorado Animal Rescue Express (C.A.R.E.) began as a dedicated transport service for unwanted dogs and cats. Over the years, C.A.R.E. has evolved into a vital supporter of animal welfare initiatives, partnering with various rescue organizations to ensure the safety and well-being of countless pets.
Since its inception, C.A.R.E. has successfully transported over 65,400 homeless pets to safety, funded 59,900 spay and neuter surgeries, and provided assistance to 9,750 pets through Jake’s Fund.
