Our Story
In 2008, Camille Proctor faced the challenges of finding appropriate services for her son diagnosed with Autism. This personal journey revealed a significant gap in support for African American families dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorders. In March 2009, she founded The Color of Autism Foundation to provide culturally competent resources and support.
Impact
The foundation aims to end the stigma surrounding Autism in communities of color, empowering families and reducing their isolation.
