Our Story

Founded in 1907 by 42 faculty members, the Colonnade Club serves as a historic gathering space located in Pavilion VII, the oldest building in Jefferson’s Academical Village. This unique venue fosters social connections and the free exchange of ideas among the University of Virginia's faculty, staff, alumni, and friends. With over 1,000 members, the Club continues to thrive as a cornerstone of the University community.
