The Collie Rescue Foundation, Inc. was established in 2005 to promote and assist in the rescue of purebred Collies. In response to significant rescue events involving large numbers of Collies, this national organization was formed to provide emergency funding and support to local rescues. The foundation also aims to educate the public on responsible pet ownership and provide guidelines for the adoption of rescue Collies.
Since its inception, the Collie Rescue Foundation has disbursed nearly $200,000 to rescue organizations across the country, ensuring that Collies in need receive the care they require to find forever homes.
