Founded in 1998 by Dr. Whitney Laughlin, College Horizons began at the Native American Preparatory School, evolving into a national nonprofit in 2005. This Native-led organization is dedicated to increasing the enrollment and success of Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian students in higher education through college admissions workshops and support.
With over 4,000 Native students served, College Horizons boasts a 99% college enrollment rate and an 85% graduation rate within 4-5 years, significantly surpassing the national average for Native students.
