Our Story

The College Fund of Pinellas County, Inc. was established in 1965 to provide financial assistance to academically talented but financially disadvantaged students in Pinellas County, Florida. Founded by a dedicated group of citizens, the organization initially focused on helping African American students gain access to higher education during a time of segregation. Over the years, it has evolved to support students of all backgrounds, raising funds to ensure that financial barriers do not hinder academic potential.

Impact

Since its inception, the College Fund has awarded over one million dollars in scholarships, enabling over 700 students to achieve their college education goals and improve their living standards and community roles.
