Our Story

The Collective Empowerment Group was established in 1993 to address the inequitable access to banking services faced by churches and their congregations. Originally known as The Collective Banking Group, the organization has evolved to encompass a wider array of programs aimed at achieving social and economic justice for underserved communities in South Florida.

Impact

CEG has facilitated over $300 million in loans for its member churches and maintains more than $130 million in deposits with banking partners. With a network of over 150 churches representing more than 200,000 individuals, CEG is dedicated to fostering economic wellness and social justice.
