Our Story

Connect Ministry, founded by Denise Caldwell in Houston, is dedicated to empowering students in underserved communities. Since 2014, the organization has provided essential educational support through private tutoring and innovative programs. By partnering with local churches and organizations, such as Star of Hope Mission and STEAM Southlawn Palms Apartment Complex, Connect Ministry has successfully implemented programs that teach science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM), while also focusing on vital life skills like dialogue, etiquette, and critical thinking.

Making an Impact

Recognizing a greater need, Connect Ministry launched the ‘Connect For Youth’ program to address illiteracy and reading deficiencies among elementary-age students in the Aldine, Klein, and Houston Independent School Districts. This initiative aims to equip children with the tools necessary for academic success and personal growth, ultimately helping them to contribute positively to society.
