Code Switch was founded in 2017 by Tonya Walls, inspired by the spirit of Ubuntu. This multigenerational community of girls, women, and gender expansive people of color is dedicated to achieving equity in K-12 education. The organization creates healing spaces for girls of color through restorative justice practices.
