Our Story
Founded in 1971 as Central Coast Christian Academy, Coastal Christian School began with a vision from parents seeking a Christian education for their children. Starting with just 39 students in grades K-6, the school expanded to include grades 7 and 8 in 1972, and a high school program in 1978. In 1986, the name was changed to Coastal Christian School to reflect its multi-church sponsorship. A significant milestone was reached in 2013 when the school broke ground on a new facility, completed in September 2014, thanks to a generous land donation of 27 acres in Pismo Beach.
