Our Story

Coastal Authority Care Foundation is dedicated to supporting veterans facing the challenges of service-connected injuries, particularly the invisible wounds of mild traumatic brain injury, post traumatic stress, and chronic pain. Founded in December 2015, this nonprofit organization raises awareness within the military community about the risks associated with traumatic brain injury and suicide, while providing access to evidence-based therapies that promote healing.

Impact

The foundation's Emerging Therapy Grant program empowers veterans to access innovative therapies that heal both the brain and body. These therapies, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy and neurofeedback, have been shown to significantly improve the quality of life for veterans suffering from TBI and PTS.
