Coach Blair Charities

Our Story

Coach Gary Blair has been a passionate advocate for Special Olympics since 1992. His journey began with a simple desire to bring joy to athletes with intellectual disabilities. Over the years, he has presented medals, spoken at ceremonies, and hosted Special Olympians at Texas A&M Women's Basketball games. Coach Blair Charities has raised over $1 million to support these incredible athletes.

Impact

Since its inception in Bryan/College Station, Coach Blair Charities has expanded its sports programs from 2 to 7, including Track & Field, Cycling, Swimming, Bowling, Bocce, Powerlifting, and FUNdamentals. This growth has allowed athletes to compete at higher levels, including state competitions, and has significantly increased participation.
