Founded in 2002 by Jode Frisbie Eye and Marie Bouchard McClung, Clothes To Kids, Inc. was born from a desire to support children facing clothing insecurity. The organization opened its first store in 2003, creating a welcoming shopping environment where low-income or crisis school-age children can receive clothing at no cost. Since then, it has expanded to multiple locations, distributing over 208,000 wardrobes to children in need.
In 2023 alone, Clothes To Kids distributed 16,411 wardrobes, contributing to a total of over 208,000 wardrobes provided since inception. The mission is to ensure that every school-age child has access to quality clothing, empowering them to attend school with confidence and self-esteem.
