Our Story

Clinica Colorado was established in 2011 to serve as a medical home for underserved populations, particularly uninsured Spanish-speaking families. Founded by Dr. Jim Williams, the organization recognized the urgent need for increased healthcare capacity in Colorado, where over 1.3 million individuals were estimated to be uninsured. Today, despite the Affordable Care Act, many Coloradans still lack coverage. Since opening, Clinica Colorado has facilitated over 50,000 patient visits, ensuring that those in need receive the care they deserve.
