Climate Collaborative

Our Story

The Climate Collaborative emerged from a shared belief among leaders in the natural food industry that by working together, significant impact on reversing climate change is possible. This initiative began with a conversation between Jessica Rolph and Lara Dickinson, who both felt the personal and professional effects of climate change. Joined by Nancy Hirshberg and Katherine DiMatteo of the Sustainable Food Trade Association, they developed a plan to drive meaningful climate action. In 2021, the Climate Collaborative became an independent 501(c)(3) organization, reflecting its growth and commitment to the cause.

Impact

Since its founding in 2017, the Climate Collaborative has catalyzed public climate commitments from over 760 companies, working with thousands of brands, distributors, retailers, and associations to accelerate meaningful climate action throughout the food system.
