Our Story

Climate Action Families, originally known as Climate Change for Families, began in 2013 with a mission to empower youth in climate justice. Based in Washington, the organization has trained over 600 young leaders through its Climate Justice Ambassador Academies, fostering a nationwide network dedicated to climate advocacy.

Since its inception, Climate Action Families has significantly influenced climate policy at local, state, and national levels, with youth organizing impactful climate strikes and actions.
