Our Story
Founded in 1897 by Clift Rodgers, a dedicated leather merchant, the Clift Rodgers Library has been a cornerstone of the Marshfield community. With a generous donation of $5,000 for its construction, the library has evolved into a vibrant hub for literary exploration and community connection. Over the years, it has faced challenges but has continually adapted, including the establishment of a consignment shop that has become essential for funding.
